Domain Driven Design and Bounded Contexts from an Event Driven Perspective

Jason Reardon

Recently, I had the opportunity to attend the monthly DDD meetup in Austin, TX, where I was asked to record the talks. As such, I am posting the video here for everyone to see. The video starts with a lightning talk by Gomti Mehta, where she delivers a well-rounded introduction and overview to Domain Driven Design and explains why and how it is used. The main talk is given by Indu Alagarsamy of Particular Software, where she discusses Bounded Contexts, a key concept of Domain Driven Design, from the perspective of an event driven architecture. As familiar as I am with DDD and message-based distributed systems, I still found Indu's talk to be informative and compelling.
